Text: Secured by approved Government Securities or coin deposited with the Receiver General & Treasurer. The Bank of Nassau Hereby promises to pay to bearer on demand the sum of FOUR SHILLINGS.
Reverse: "FOUR SHILLINGS" value in ornate guilloche at centre.
