Obverse: Design in purple. In the center, allegorical of a seated woman with the denomination value "100" within a guilloche on each side. Above, the issuer name "BANCO MERCANTIL Y AGRICOLA" and "COMPAÑÍA ANÓNIMA". Below, the denomination in words "CIEN BOLÍVARES" and the payment clause "QUE SE PAGARÁN AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO A PRESENTACIÓN, EN DINERO EFECTIVO" (will pay to the bearer in the office of the bank upon presentation, in cash). In the bottom border, the legend of the capitalization amount "CAPITAL Bs.8.000.000". In each corner, the denomination value "100" within a guilloche.
Reverse: Design in purple. In the center, allegorical of two angels with the issuer logotype in the middle. Above, the denomination in words "CIEN BOLÍVARES". Below, the issuer name "BANCO MERCANTIL Y AGRICOLA" and the city and country "CARACAS, VENEZUELA". On each side and on the corners, the denomination value "100".
