Front depicts the United States Army Seal. Back vignette has another depiction of the United States Army Seal. Front of all notes black with blue underprint. Back of all notes is brown.
There was only one print run for the series 472 ten dollar military payment certificate. This also happens to be the highest denomination from the series.

These certificates were used in Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Morocco, Netherlands, Philippines, Ryukyus, Scotland, Trieste, and Yugoslavia from March 22nd, 1948 until they were withdrawn on June 20th, 1951, The Series 472 Military Payment Certificates were printed by Tudor Press Incorporated in Boston, Massachusetts; numbered and separated by Bureau of Engraving and Printing. And interesting fact is that 3,808,000 finished certificates were destroyed at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

There were two printings for this series. The First printing included all denominations while the second did not include the 5 and 10 dollar notes.
Denominations: 5 cents, 10 cents, 25 cents, 50 cents, 1 dollar, 5 dollars, and 10 dollars.
Number of Notes Printed: 11,600,000.
